It is announced tint Lord Cross has reconsidered his decision to resign, and consented to retain the position of Secretary of State for India. It is stated that Earl Carnarvon will succeed Mr B. Stsnhope as Secretary of State for the Colonies. Jan. 9. It is announced Ihs t Lord Salisbury will replace Earl Iddesleigh as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
