Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may be plaoed in the Publio Trust Office, for such trusts and uses and with such powers as may'be defined in dr by the said rules. The advanlagoi offered are : Ist. • State Guarantee against peculation, fraud or dishonesty. 2nd. All proposed investments are oonsideiced by a Board, consisting lof the Hon. Colonial Xreesurer, the Attorney-Generali the Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Gorernment Insurance Commissioner, and the Publio Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered it is therefore insured. '3rd. The Public Trustee in his,corporate capacity never dies, never leaves the colony, and never becomes inctipaoitated, thus avoiding the 'many inconveniences resulting from frequent fresh appointments of necessitated by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily infirmity. - : 4th. ; Punctuality and promptitudo inthe remittance of periodical payments to bene fioiaries under trust or will to any part» the colony, at which it may be desired "that payment should be made, sth.
