ASHBURTON MARKETS. Mr E, G. Staveley (for the New .Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company) reports on the stock sale on Tuesday as follows ; At the Tinwald sale to-day there were about 8000 sheep, ’and Average ertries of cattle and pgs. Sheep were dull, fat especially. Fat crossbred ewes,' 5s to 6's Id ; mixed sexes, 7» 4d ; wethers, 8-* ; crossbred ewe lamh«, 7d each ; ag«d crossbred ewes, 2s 8 I ;all shorn half-bred, ■wooi’y hogg ts, 5s 3i to 6s Id ; fat lambs, 5s 7d to 6-‘7 | . Cattle were also qmec. Fat cows, £5 5s to £i 15s; forward bullocks, £5 2$ 6d. Beef made 18a per hundred. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Nov. 27. A belter demand has been experienced in the wool market, ihe total, arrivals to date are 130,000 bales.
