_ The Auckland Cricket Club have decided, in the event of the Australians playing a match there, to band over to the visitors all profits; »bove £BO. Tbe Wellington Cricket Club have de» cided to play 22 against the Australians instead of 18 as at first intended. A letter has been received by the Secretary of the Auckland Cricket Association from Mr . Lilly white, of the English Cricketing team, stating that the team will not visit the colony on account of the terms offered being unacceptable. The letter deprecates in Btrong language the terms asked for by the cricketing associations of the colony with the exception of Wellington.
