AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS.

TIMARTJ. Messrs Graeie, Maclean, and Adam report for the past week ending Satur day sb follows : Horses —At the Tim am Horse Bazaar to-day, over 30 head of all classes were entered, but with the exception of a few good draughts the quality was only medium. Bidding throughout the sale was very slow. Good young draughts are still in demand, Wo quote be6t draughts at from £2O to £27 10s; medium, £l4 10s to £lB. Hacks and light harness harness horses—Medium to good, £l4 to £l6 108; light and inferior, £4 to £lO.

Sheep—At Washdyke, on Thursday, there was again a large entry of fat sheep both in the wool and shorn, and although the prices realised were not quite up to the preceding 6ale every line was cleared. We sold on account of Messrs Fitzgerald, Page, Mitchell, Robertson, Gentlemun, Bee, and Grant, 45 wethers at 15s, 34 at 13s lid, 52 at 12s 6d, 70 at 13s 3d; 47 shorn wethers at 7s Bd, 51 at 7s lid, 50 at 8s; 31 shorn ewes at bs 6d. Store sheep—A few lines of ewes and lambs failed to find purchasers. Cattle—At Washdyke, the entry of tat cattle was small, and the quality not prime. We sold 2 cows at £6 each, 5 cows at ±5 10s, 1 at £5. The store cattle entered were principally yearlings and old cows, most of which changed hands at fair prices. Holders of wellgrown steers who wish to quit them, should send them forward. We sold calves at 15s ; dry cows (old), 35s to 558 ; 15 months to 2-year-olds, 50s to £4 ss. Sheepskins—At our saleroom on Wednesday, we offered a catalogue of over 1500 skins, which we disposed of at prices barely equal to former rates. • AUSTRALIAN MARKETS.

Sydney, Nov. 18. New Zealand wheat is selling at 4s Id per bushel; New Zealand oats, 2s 41; maize, per 561 bs, 3s 4d. Pollard, lOd per bushel. Potatoes, for which there is no sale, are quoted at 50s per ten, Adelaide, Not. 19. Wheat is selling at from 5s to 5s Id. Adelaide flour—-Town brands, LU 5s to Lll 15s per ton ; country brands, Llol2s 6d to LlO 15s. ENGLISH MAKiTifiTS. London, Nov. 19. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,690,000 quarters. wheat is at 36s 6d, and New Zealand wheat from 30s to 86s. Adelaide flour, ex store, 25s 6d. Australian beef Ullow, 25s 6d ; mutton, 28s 6d. Nov. 20. Wheat shows a further advance of 6d. The market is firm, and sales are restricted lo recent arriuals. The business is active. Australian wheat is scarce, and quotations are firmly maintained al 36s 6d.
