Selling Race, of 100 sovs; six furlongs. Mr G. G. Stead’s Vinaigrette 1 Mr M. Sherwin’s Meteor 2 Mr H, Piper’s Mirella 8 Deceiver and Authentic also ran. Time —lrain 15|sec. Dividends, £5 3s and £4 Bs. The winner was sold for £135 to Mr Drake. Flyin« Handicap, i sweepstakes of 6 sovs each, with 200 sovs added ; five furlongs. M.r W. P. Tancred’s Forester ... 1 Mr G. G. Stead’s Russley 2 Mr T. H. Hill’s Pasha 3 Rubina, Rocket, Molly Bawn, Apropos, Jack, Galatea, Sierra, Tarautalus, and St. Ives also started. Time—lmm Isec. Dividends, £lO 15a and £l4 6s. The Consolation Race was won by Marion, £10,831 was put through the. total* isator, making a grand total of £36,008 for th« mealing.
