AT a Special Meeting held on the 20th October, 1888, it was unanimously agreed that the petition of Ratepayers praying that the district defined in the Special Order (copies of such definition being open for injpsction at the office of the Terauka Road Board, Temuka, at the office of the Geraldine Road Board, Geraldine, at the office of the Mount Peel Road' Board, Peel Forest, and at the County Counoil office, Timaru) be declared a Special Water Supply District in terms of the Counties Act 1876 and Amendment Aet 1883, and will be confirmed at a meeting of the Council to be held on 24th November, 1886.
