AUCTIONEERS' REPORT.

GBRALDINB. Messrs J. Mundell and Co. report sales for the week ending Saturday, 2nd Oct., 1886 : On Tuesday, at their Salerooms, Gertildine, they held their monthly Bale of skins, at which there was a large attendance of the trade. Competition was keen for all the lots submitted to auction, every line being cleared at prices satisfactory to vendors. The followiog is a quotation of the prices obtaiued :—Butcbers' crossbred skins, ss, 5* 2d, 5s 4d ; farmers' crossbred, 3s Id to 3s 3J; merino, Is 4d to 2e-od. Produce Potatoes, 5s per sack ; carrots, 6a; oluckvrheat, 3s per bushel ; oats, 2a 3d ; brao, 7s per sack ; sharps, 10a; bacoo, 5d per lb ; on'*ons, Id ; bone dust, 8s per cwt; fine salt, 6s per cwt.
