Sofia, Sept, 21. The Russian Government urged the postponement of the trial of those implicated in the deposition of Prince Alexander. The Regency has, however, declined to interfere with the course of jns'ice, or await, the arrival of Gemval Knulhars, the newly-appointed Russian Agent at Sofia. St. Petersburg, Sept. 22. The dourna. de Si. Petersburg, in a leading article to-day, censures the Regency for hurrying the elections for the new Great Sobranome, or National Assembly, of Bulgaria*
London, Sept. 23. * In the House of Commons last night, during the discussion on the position of affairs in Bulgaria, Lord Randolph Churchill declared that the serious situation in that country might soon become critical, and, therefore, Her Majesty’s Government declines to formulate their views on the subject. The object of the Government would be to maintain it as an European concern,, and thereby ensure peace.
