. Sydney, Sept. 16, A girl named Mary Hicks, aged about seventeen, was criminally assaulted by some nine' or ten. young ruffians in the scrub ’hear Moore Park. The victim was lured to the spot, and was in the hands of the miscreants several hours in the afternoon, Nine arrests have been made. Mr Thomas Walker, who died recently; left a million and a quarter of money. He bequeaths a £IOO,OOO to the Convalescent: Hospital on the Paramatta river, besides other charitable bequests. Accounts from Kimberley are very unsatisfactory. Melbourne, Sept. 16, The Assembly has voted £IOOO to Mrs Marcus Clark.
