The Great Metropolitan Stakes wera tun for at Sydney on Tuesday, and won by Bohemian, with The Jewel second ; lime 3min Sljsecs. The Richmond Stakes were won by Yetmao, Metaphor being second, and Sumatra third ; time— The Oaks resulted in a dead* heat between Tamarisk and Crossfire r Acme being tbird ; time—2tnln 40$sec.
At the Plumpton Park Racing Club’s Meeting at Christchurch on Tuesday, the Plumpton Handicap, of 60 sots, was won by Mr H. Luna's Klngask, Mr G. G. Stfad’a Marion being second ; time—2min 16 3-ltbn secs. The Two-year-old Flutter of 60sova, 4 furlongs, was won by Mr P, Butler’s Northcote, with the Hon. W. Reeves’ Kimberley second • time—l7sec«. The Handicap Bardies, of 60 sovs was won by Mr Sleightholme’a Mammoo. The Flying Handicap, of 40 sovs, was won by Mr H. Piper’s Mirella, with Mr Lunn’s Kingask second. The Handicap Time Trot (in saddle), of 30 sovs, three miles, was won by Mr J. Kirkwood’s, Darkie (35secs), Mr J. Farrar’s Billy (40secs) being second, and Mr A.
