Facts bearing out the supposition that 'here is gold to be found at the Milford Beach are • constantly obtruding themselves on public attention. Last .Saturday there was found by Mrs Chamberlain, of tii • Temnka Hotel, several sp-'cs of gold in the gizzard of a goose obtained by her from Mr Caleb Woodley, of Milford. There can be no doubt as to how it gut there. It is also said on very good authority, th.it there are men making £4 a week in digging gold at the month of the R« agitata river. If there are any unemployed about it, appears to us that it tvoul 1 not bo a bad thing fur them to try what is to he got there.
