RIOTS IN BELFAST.

London, Aug 10. The Protestant population of Belfast are furious at the partisanship shown by the police during the riots. The hospitals are full of wounded men, woumn and children, The police have been partly withdrawn from Belfast and replac’d by soldiers, who are much mare popular with the inhabitants. Aug. 11. At the funeral of one of the victims of the Belfast riots a disturbance occurred, which necessitated the intervention of the police, who arrested 12 persons and subsequently dispersed the gathering. The town itself otherwise is in a quiet state. Later. Io the collision which occurred at the funeral of the victim by the recant riots at Belfast, one of the rioters was shot by the police.
