Melbourne, July 28. Arrived, last evening—-Msnapouri, from the Bluff. Sailed, this -morning—Rotomahana, for the Bluff. Sydney, July 28. Arrived, yesterday afternoon—Mamroa, from Auckland. The local Steamship Companies and owners hare deeided to propose a reduction in the rate of wages of seamen in consequence of the present depressed state of trade. It is feared the terras will not be accepted by the mr-n, and that a strike will result.
