A virtual rupture has occurred between the Associated Banks of this city over the question ot interest on deposits.
Sailed, .this afternoon— Rotomahana, for the Bluff.
Sydney. June 22
A severe accident occurred on board H.M.S. Opal yesterday. While the salute in honor of the accession of Her Majesty the Queen was bring fired, one of the guns burst, killing one seaman and seriously injuring another. A tram accident occurred yesterday at North Shore through two trams coming into collision. Five persons were injured.
