COME IN CROWDS. jus SOUTH CANTERBURY BOARD OF EDUCATION. ANNUAL EXAMINATION OF PUPIL TEACHERS. NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual Examination of Pupil Teachers will commence at the Timaru Main School on TUESDAY, June 29th. Pupil Teachers in the service of the Board are required to present themselves for examination, irrespective of their teaching status, in the class next higher than that for which they have already qualified In respect of attainments. Those done have the option of considering themselves exempt who have received their appointments since the let January, 1886. Young persons of 14 years of age and upwards not yet holding appointment! will, on receipt of one week’s notice, be admitted to examination with pupil teachers of the first year, or with pupil teachers of any higher year if they have already passed the next lower examination. The names of such persons will be entered on a separate list of candidates, and those who fail to satisfy the examiners will be designated by numbers alone in the published result. Copies of the examination time-table may be obtained at this office. The legitimate expenses incurred by the Board's pupil teachers in attending the examination will be refunded. By order. J. H.
