The House met at 1.55 p.m. A message was received from flic M Legislative Council requiring the presence | of members of the House to hear the Governor’s speech. Go the House resuming Mr Sevan gave notice to move at next sitting day that a respectful address be presented to the Governor in reply to the speech made to both Houses, Notices of motion were given for the / appointment of the usual Sessional Committees. The Hon. R, Stout moved tint the » House do now adjourn till Tuesday next » at 2.40 p.m.—This was agreed to, and the House rose at 2.40 p.m.
