Messrs Inwood and Co., of the Winchester Mills, report— The grain market is rather dull, owing to stores being full, and local demand is supplied for the present. Quotations are nominal. Wheat—Red chalf 3s to 3s 2d, pearl 3s 3d to 3s 4d, Tuscan 3s2d to 3s 4|d, velvet chaff to 3s sd, very little offering. Feed oats to Is lOd, milling do to 2s Id. Barley, very little demand, to 3a. Potatoes, 40s. Flour, stone made, £8 15s to £9 10s. Bran, £4 10s. Sharps, fine (not “ pollard £5 10s to £5 15s. There is an active demand for mill produce at the above prices. All quotations are f.o.b. Timaru ; usual terms.
