London, Dec. 29. Mr Murray Smith, who has been officially informed that Mr Graham Berry will relieve him of his duties as Agent-General for Victoria at an early date, states that he had expected bis services would have been retained until the close of the Colonial and Indian Exhibition in May, Mr Murray Smith has resolved upon re-entering political life in Victoria, (le will be entertained at a banquet in Loudon on 3rd January. Mr W. E. Forster, whose serious illness was reported on Wednesday last continues in a very critical condition. Jan. 4, Mr Smith will embark for Victoria about the end of April.
