Auckland, Dec. 31. At Lftvtika, Fiji, on 20th December, a fire destroyed KraffVa new store and Whiteside's store adjoining, with its contents. The fire Brigade and volunteers, by strenuous labor, kept the flames from spreading further. The long-continued drought is affecting native food supplies. The copra crop will be a partial failure, and it is feared that the yams will suffer also.
