Nominations and acceptances were received on Saturday night for the D.J.C, Spring Meeting as follow : Novel Race —Foul Play, May Boy, Lanreston, Factory Girl, Matanaka, Silver Queen, Helmsdale, Little Nelly, Omarine, Scaltheen, Sweetbriar, and Molly Bawn. Hurdle Rack— Borderman, Marquis, Rocket, Trapper, Foreman, Silver King, Temuka, Little John, and May Boy. Maiden Plate —Eight entries. St. Andrew’s Handicap (acceptances) —Lady Emma, Taiaroa, Talebearer, Fusilade, Hermitage, Leon, Don Jose, Rubezahl, and Martyr filly. Selling Two-Year-Old Race -Red Rose filly (£200), Vinaigrette (£200), Tarantilua (£160), and Stives (£150). Spring HANDiCAP—Lady Emma, Talebearer, Fusilade, Leon, Billy, Everton Lad, Cheap Jack, Rubezahl, Molly Bawn, and The Banker. Twenty-two have accepted for the Trot and twelve have entered for the Selling Race.
