He was driven to the doors, and then asked what he had to pay. "One shilling," promptly replied the ffhip-wielder. " Very good," saya the sharp 'un ; what's your name and number? I shal! 6ue you for carrying passengers without a license 1" ''•Passengers be blowed !" said the ribbon-holder. "1 only charged for carrying your walking stick !"
