AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, Nov. 3. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports on the produce market as follows : Shipping wheat, 3s lod to 8s lid per bushel —market quiet ; barley, 3s 6d to 4s 3d, quiet; New Zealand feed oats, 2s <?d to Bs, steady ; do milling, 8a to 3s 3d, no improvement; do under bond, 2s Is to 2s 3d. Adelaide, Nov. 3. The following items of Mauritius commercial news are taken from Messrs Ireland, Fraser and Co.'s monthly circular, to hand by the incoming Messageries steamer from Mauritius:— " Oct. 16th—Cane harvesting operations are rapidly progressing, but crop accounts from the plantations are of an unfavorable character. The menthly clearances for New Zealand ports comprise—Christchurch, 200 tons; Dunedin, 500 tons; and the total exports to New Zealand ports have been 654 tons so far this season. The premium for 60 days' bank credits on New Zealand is 26£ percent,; on Australia, 26 per cent. __ ENGLISH MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, under date London, Oct. 80th, have received the following telegram:—l'he tallow market is depressed, and Australian mutton and beef have both declined Is per cwi bince the last report, Tho market is drooping, and prospects are unfavorable in consequence of supplies being in excess of current demands. Nov. 2. Frozen Mutton—Market quiet. New Zealand mutton of 651 b to 751 b per carcase is worth per lb.
