At [hicpb quoted we have passed through over 158. Fat—We have disposed of 30 bags at tne following prices : Rough butchers' clean, 14.1 ; dirty, Id ; rendered, 2d per lb. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Sydney, Oct. 16. New Zealand wheat is quoted at 2a iOd ; New Zealand oats 2s 5d per bushel ; maize, 3s 7d perfifiibs ; Sugar Company's No. 1 pbces, L2b" per ton. Adelaide, Oct. 17. There is little stirring in the produce market. Shipping wheat is quoted at 4s Id per bushel. Town flour, L 3 10s; country, L 7 15s to LB. Melbourne, Oct. 20. The Manager of the National Mortgage aud Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports on the local produce market as follows: shipping wheat is at 4s to 4s Id per bushel ; malting barley is void of competition at 3s 6d to 4s 3d. New Zealand oats, feed sorts, are flat, and prices are drooping, at 2s 9d to 3s ; while milling descriptions are, slow of sale a' 3s'to 3s Id. New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s Id to 2s 3^. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Oct. 17. 'J he wheat market is dull, last advance being barely maintained. The foreign markets are lower. No sales of Anstra'ian cargoes have taken place. •Adelaide wheat, ex stor<% is quoted at 37s ; do, off coast, 35s lo4d. The total quantity ol wheat afloat for tl.e United Kingdom is 138,000 quarters, or 80,000 quarters moie than last week. Tallow is 6d lower, and is quoted at 27s 6d (Ui'< 2Xa for average Australian beef and mutton respectively. Tic New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Aiff-ncy Company have received the following telegram, dated London, Oct. I3tii : il,e. wool market is unchanged. The tone i f tli" wb' j at mirket, is firm. The New Zealand fl«x market is firm, fine bong worth L 25 ner ! ton, and medium aud common L2O 10=» and Ll 9 respectively. For kauri gum the demand is merely to satisfy trade requirements. The Home crop of hups is estimated 500,000 cwt., and quotations are unchanged.
