The weather was exc<*lleni. Woods was a slight favorite for the match The first event wag 100 yard?, and Hunt trot the best of the start, and maintained his Isad to the end. Time, For the second distance, of 220 yards, there was a good start. Bunt was quickest away, and Wood was never able 'o trouble him. Time .23 2-sfch sec. Hunt thus vpn the match. A large amount of money changed hands.
