A Challenge Oup of 50 Guineas is given by the Business Men of Timaru for the Largest Prizetaker in Breeding Stock, Sheep, Cattle and Horses. G. H, Rhodes, Esq., gives a prize of £6 5s for the best Pen of Fat Lambs fit for butchers’ purposes. G. H. Rhodes, Jfisq., gives a £lO Cup for the best Horse that has hunted with any recognised Pack. The same to be entered in either Class 146 or 147. D. McLaren, Esq. (President), gives a prize of £5 5s for the Largest Prizetaker in Draught Horses. Andrew Grant, Esq., gives a prize of £2 tor the best Collie Dog on the ground. J. W. Rutherford, Ksq., off-rs a prize of £5 5s for the Best Jumper over two flights of hurdles 3ft Gin high, for horses that have never been hunted or raced. J. Imlah, Esq., offers a prize of £2 for the Best Shod Entire Draught Horse on the ground, to be allowed by competent judges, J.
