A y present trustee may transfer the management of trust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, company, association or public body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendiy society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may be placed in the Public Trust Office, for such trusts and uses and with euch powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. Colonial Treeiurer, the Attorney-General, the Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, end the Public Trustee. The Public Trustee in Ms corporate capacity never dies, never leaves the colony, atd never becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many inconveniences resulting from ff( quent fresh appointments of trustees, neot. abated by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily infirmity, 4th. Punctuality and promptitude in the remittance of periodical payments to beneficiaries under truot or will to any part of tho colony, at which it may be desired that payment should bo made. sth. On estates such as are now being considered the Publ c Trustee is authorised to charge H per cent, on all receipts, and per cent, on all dis bursements, and os. per cent, on all moneys invested. No charge is made for obtaining probate, nor for passing stamps and property tax returns, nor for correspondence, however voluminous. Thus the saving to estates placed in this office is considerable.
