The Thames people are agitating for ihe construction of the Thfirr.es Valley line of railway. They point out that though the line was begun 7 years ago not a mile of it is vet open for traffic. Detective Grace, acting on information,'purchased the two tickets, which included the steam r and railway fare, fcr twelve shillings. The case was remanded for eight days, for the production of witnesses to prove that the halves of ihe tickets had been used on the up trip from Ashbtirton.
