It is announced to-day that the representatives of the colonies of New South Wales and Tasmania have been admitted to the International Telegraph Conference. The Marquis of Salisbury will shortly visit the Continent, and will meet Signor Depletes, the President of the Italian^Council, It is expected that the Telegraph Conference, now assembled at Berlin, will offer to reduce the charges on Australian cablegrams by half-a-crown per word on ordinary messages, and Press messages by one-fourth, Aug. 16.
