SHEEP WASHING. "ACKSON'S SHEEPLIFT >J (Protected b Ryal Letters Patent,) Is a most useful and simple contrivance for lifting sheep from the hot soak instead of their being dragged up an incline ; it can be fitted to almost any wash. The following statements have been kindly given for publication : I have used one of Jackßon's Patent Lifts ut my wash with great advantage, as it saves labor, prevents injury to the sheep eGonomises soap, and helps to insure more perfect washing. Any Perton may appoint the Publio Trustee executor and trustee under bit will or codicil. A' y present trustee mtsy transfer the management of trust property to the Publio Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, oompany, association or publio body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Publio Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may be placed in the Public Trust Office, for £>uoh trusts and uses and with such powers as may bo defined in or by the said rules. The advantages offered are ; let. State Guarantee against peculation, fraud or dishonesty. 2nd. All proposed investments are considered by a Board, consisting of the Hon. Colonial Treesurer, the Attorney-GMeral, the Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Publio Trustee. Cateful oomideration of all securities offered it is therefore insured. 3rd. The Public Trustee in his corporate capacity never dies, never leaves the colony, and never becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many inconveniences resulting from frequent fresh appointments of trusteei, neoesiitated by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily iufirmi y. 4th. Punctuality and promptitude in the remittance of periodical payments to benefioiarks under trust or will to any part of the colony, at which it may be desired that payment should be made. 5 ,h. The effective oheok which is called into operation before any moneys can be paid from the Public Trustee's Aoouunt. 6th. Reasonable Charges. Oa estates such as are now being considered the Publ c Trustee is authorised to oharge ty per cent, on all receipts, and 1$ per cent, on all disbursements, and ss. per cent, on all moneys invested. No oharge is made for obtaining probate, nor for passing stamps and property tii returns, nor for correspondence, however voluminous.
