AUCTIONEERS’ REPORT. XIMAKU. Messrs Jonas and Bourn report as follows ; - 1 he inclement weather during the end of last week and the beginning ot ibis has interfered more or less with all their couutry sales, At their sale at the Washdyke Yards on June 30th, they disposed of (3 fat steers at L 7 ss, 5 at L 7 2s 6d, 2 springers at 1,2 17s 6d, ■±22 halt bred ewes at ]]s 6d, 41 fat ewes and wethers at 13s 3 i, and 4 pigs at Li 12s 6d, At Plejsaut Point on M-n'day, they sold 192 half and three-quarter-bred wether hoggets, a capital line, at 9s 5d ; 40 ha!(bred ewes at 11s 9d, and 73 crossbred wethers at 11s Jld. This sale was one of the best that has been hell for some lime for store and springing ealtle, as nearly every head was sold, including 21 head of cows and heifers at from L3to L 5 I Of. They sold 4 store steers at L 2,2 at L2 11s 3d, 2at L2 15-', 4 yearlings at 13s, S store steers at L 4 10s and 6at L 3 15s, In pigs there was a small entry, which they sold, viz. : 16 at 18s, 3 at 80s, and 1 breeding sow at 50s. tebeepskins and Fat—The regular fortnightly sale was held on Wednesday. Merinos brought from Is to Is 9d ; crossbreds. Is 4d to 4s 5J ; fleece wool in bags brought 5d to s£d, and pieces tip to 2d. Rough fat, Ud ; rendered, 2 id. Privately they have sold 15 head of fat cattle at L 7, 3 at L 7 5s and 12 at LB. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS, ■Sydney, July 10. New Zealand wheat is quoted at 3a per bushel ; New Zealand oats, 3s 2d ; maize, 2s lid per 561 b. Sugar Company’s No. 1 pieces, £26 per ton. Pollard, Is per bushel. Potatoes, £3 per ton. ~ . Adelaide, July 10. Wheat is at 3s «d to 3« 9d. Flour, town brands, £8 5s ; country, £7 5s to £7 10s. . ENGLISH MARKETS. London, July 11. The wool sales concluded yesterday. The closing prices range from a halfpenny to one penny below April closing rates, except for greasy and crossbred sorts, which have recovered slightly. Three hundred and twenty-three ,t(u uaud bales were catalogued, of: which 70 00(1 were wjihdrawn. The wheat market is unchanged, and no business t> reported.
