COURSING.

The South Canterbury Coursing Club held their Grand Champion Meeting on the Pareora Estate on Wednesday and Thursday last. The attendance of spectators was good and the sport was firstclass. The following are the results Champion Stake, of 24 dogs at £lO 10s. Winner, £75 ; runner-up, £32 10a ; third dog, £2O ; 3 dogs at £lO each ; 6 dogs at £5 each. Mr A.
