Two hundred hairpins were found in the stomach of a cow recently killed in Logan County (Ky). Some women evi-. dently made a hairbreadth escape. For table, "market and eggs, Plymouth liqcks \ second cl>o;ce, lif>lit Brahmss. It claims that wheat is the best food for fowls, but that corn should be given them twice a week in winter, as also bone meal, for forming the shall, and that to make tiiem lay well in winter thoir food should bo given them hot,
