SHEEP WASHING-. The following statements have been kindly given for publication : I have used one of Jackson’s Patent Lifts nt my wash with great advantage, as it saves labor, prevents injury to the sheep economises soap, and helps to insure more perfect washmg. Any Person may appoint the Public Trnstee executor and trustee under his will or codicil. A y present trustee may transfer the management of trust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon :hold such property upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, company, association or public body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its, rules, provide that aaoperty belonging to it may be placed in tH6 Public Trust Office, for such trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. l The advantages offered are Ist. All proposed investments are considered by a Board, consisting of the Hon, Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney-General, the Comptroller and Auditor-General, tbe Government Insurance Commissioner, ard tbe Public Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered it is therefore insured. 3rd, The Public Trustee in his corporate capacity mver dies, never leaves the colony, and never becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many ioo nveniecces mulling from frequent fresh appointments of truiteer, necissitatcd by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily infirtui'y. 4th. Punctuality and promptitude in tbe remittance of periodical payments to beneficiaries under trmt or will to any part of the colony,, at which it may be desired that payment should ba made. sth. No charge it made for obtaining prob te, nor for passing stamps and property lax returns, nor for correspondence, however voluminous.
