COURSING.

A private coursing match took place the Raukapuka Estate yesterday, wl there was a good attendance of sportsn and some excellent courses were : The paddocks were in good concfii and hares were both numerous and Btro and the courses were such as to test mettle of the dogs. J)r Hayes and Connolly officiated as judge and slip respectively, and gave general satis faction. The company had a vsry p sant day’s sport, for which they w indebted to the kindness of Mr Fos thwaite.
