COURSING.

A private coursing match took place the Raukapuka Estate yesterday, wl there was a good attendance of sportsn and some excellent courses were : The paddocks were in good concfii and hares were both numerous and Btro and the courses were such as to test mettle of the dogs. J)r Hayes and Connolly officiated as judge and slip respectively, and gave general satis faction. The company had a vsry p sant day’s sport, for which they w indebted to the kindness of Mr Fos thwaite. We are glad to see coun started once more in this district, and trust the “ lovers of the leash ” wilU many such pleasant reunions. Tfasl lowing are the details of the running; ALL AGED STAKE.
