AUSTRALIAN MARKETS
. Melbourkb, May 19. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports of the local markets as follows : There is no material change in shipping wheat ; if anything r the market is weaker. The prices are—3s 9d to 3s lOd ; maltiug barley is less depressed at 3s 6d to 4s b'd, but there is not-much doing ; New Zealand oats, feed sorts, are quieter and weaker at 2s 8d to 2s lid ; milling descriptions are steady at 2s lid to 3s, but not in active demand. New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s to 2s 3d. Ryegrass seed is in fair demand at 3s 6d to 4s 6i ; cocksfoot barely maintains to-day's quotations at B|d to 4d.
ENGLISH MAEJETS,
London, May 16. Tallow Australian fair average quality beef 30s, being a decline of 6d. Mutton has also fallen 6d, and is now quoted at 32s per cwt.
