GEEALDINE ROAD BOARD. -OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of the Gerald ine Road Board to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1882, certain Lands hereinafter described for a Road, and Notice is Further Given that a Copy of the Plan of the said Lands is deposited in the Road Board Office, Geraldine, and is there open for inspection, and all persons affected by the taking of such Lands are hereby called upon to to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the taking of such Lands, and to send such writing within Forty Days from the date of the publication hereof to the Office of the Geraldine Road Board at Geraldine. SCHEDULE. All that Parcel of Land situate in Block XI., Kakahu Survej District, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, County of Geraldine, being parts of Rural Sections 13978 and 33989, and containing by admeasurement Three Acres 1 Rood and Five Perches (more or less) ; being bounded on the North and North-west by the River Kakahu, on the N. E. by the Road through R S. 13078, and commencing at a bend, thence S.W. bearings respectively of 228 deg 7min, 229 deg 18min, 54deg 43min, 268 deg 21min, 72deg 13miD, and 58deg 37min, distances of 417.61k5, 299,81k5, 610.91k5, 179.41k5, 161.61k5, and 260.81k5; thence N.W. 285 deg 23min, distances of 273.11k5, and 144 deg 1 mm, a distance of 363.81k5, to the road N. of R.S. 33989 ; and thence along said road a distance of 78 links to River, as the same is more particularly delineated on the Plan annexed and colored pink. All that Parcel of Land situate in Block XI., Kakahu Survey District, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, County of Geraldine, being part of R.S. 10910, and containing by admeasurement Two Roods Twenty Perches (more or less) ; having an average width of 100 links, and extending S.E. 117deg41min, distances of 693.71k5, on the N.E. s:de, and 6611 ks on S.W. side, so as to meet the road separating R. Sections 30616 and 34219, instead of crossing the River Kakahu, as the same is more particularly delineated on Plan annexed and colored pink.
