ENGLISH MAEKETS. Lonpon, April 18. The March-April series of the wool sales closed to-day. The total quantity sold has been 180,000 bales. 42,000 bales have been held over for the next auctions. Prices generally closed a halt-penny to a penny lower, except for crossbreds, which have advanced by a half-penny to a penny, compared with the closing rates of the JanuaryFebruary auction?.
