SHEEP WASHING. TAOKSON’S SHEEPLIFT ]} (Protected b Ryal Letters Patent,) Is a most useful and simple contrivance for lifting sheep from the hot soak instead of their being dragged up an incline; it can bo fitted to almost any wash. The following statements have been kindly given for publication : I have used one of .Jackson's Patent Lifts nt my wash with great advantage, as it saves labor, prevents injury to the sheep economises soap, and helps to insure more perfect washing. Any Person may appoint the Public Trustee executor end trustee under bis will or codicil. A' y present trustee may transfer the management of trust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, company, association or public body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of Ihe Public Trustee ujion trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may be placed in the Public Trust Office, for such trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. All proposed investments are considered by a Bo«rd, consisting of the Hon, Ooloniol Treesurer, the Attorney-General, the Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Government Ineurenoe Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered it is therefore insured. 3rd. The Public Trustee in bis corporate capacity never dies, never leaves the colony, and never becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many inconveniences resulting from frrquent fresh appointments of trustees, necessitated by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily infirmity, 4ih. Punctuality and promptitude in the remittance of periodical payments to bene. Salaries under trust or will to any part of the colony, at which it may be desired that payment should be made, stb. The effective check which is called into operation before any moneys oan be paid from the Public Trustee’s Account. 6th. Reasonable Charges. On estates such ns are now being considered the Publ c Trustee is authorised to charge If per cent, on »U receipts, and If per cent, on all diabn’cements, and ss, per cent, on all moneys invested* No charge is made for obtaining prob ate, nor for passing stamps and property rax n 'turns, nor for correspondence, however volum inous.
