London, April 14. It has been arranged that the Earl of Derby shall introduce the Australasian Federal Council Bill into the House on Thursday next. April 15. Robert Nicholas Fowler, who was elected Lord Mayor of London in 1883, has been re-elected to that position in consequence of the decease of Lord Mayor NotUge. Sir Thomas Brnssey, First Secretary of the Admiralty, states that the names of vessels belonging to Colonial Navies, when such have been organised, will appear in the official Navy lists.
The French Government have demanded that the Franco paper Cosphoro Egyptienne, which has been suppressed by the Egyptian Government fqr anira adverting on the Government policy' in reference to the Soudan, shall be re licensed. Nnbar Pasha states, In reply, that bis Government were quite justified in stopping the paper, The hostile demonstration made by the Nationalists on the occasion of their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales visiting Cork led to a riot, during which revolvers were used, and the troops charged with fixed bayonets. Several persons were wounded, Apiil 16.
Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales were received with enthusiasm on their public appearance in Cork, and all demonstrations ol disloyalty were confined to occasional hisses among the bystanders. Rio de Janeiro, April 14.
The Shaw-Savill and Albion Company’s steamship Doric, from Wellington, left this morning for Plymouth. Her cargo of meat is in good condition.

Sydney, April 15. The dispute between the Pacific Mail Company and the Seamen’s Union? relative to the employment of Chinese aboard the Zealandia, still continues. The company arc now shipping a fresh crew for the vessel under the protection of the police to avoid intimidation, Melbourne, April 16. Arrived, this morning—Steamship Wairarapa, from the Bluff. Adelaide, April 16. Arrived, this afternoon —R. M.S. Lusitania, with the London mails of March 13th.
