SHEEP WASHING. i-AOKSON'S SHEEPLIFT J (Protected b Ryal Letters Patent,) Is a most useful and simple contrivance for lifting sheep from the hot soak instead of their being dragged up an incline ; it can be fitted to altnoßt any wasb. The following statements have been kindly given for publication : I have used one of Jackson's Patent Lifts ut my wash with great advantage, as it saves labor, prevents injury to the sheep economises soap, and helps to insure more perfect Washing. Any Person may appoint the Public Trustee executor and trustee under his will or codicil. Aiy present trustee may transfer the management of trust property to the Publio Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, company, association or publio body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Publio Trustee upon trust for such usee as may be defined in the deed oreating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may bo placed in the Publio Trust Office, for fcuch trusts and usee and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rulei. The advantages offered are : Ist. State Guarantee against peculation, fraud or dishonesty. 2nd. All proposed investments are considered by a Board, consisting of the Hon, Colonial Treeiurer, the Attorney-General, the Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, ard the Publio Trustee. Careful oontideration oi all securities offered it is therefore insured. 3rd. The Public Trustee ia his corporate capacity never dies, never leaves the colony, and never becomes incapacitated, thus s voiding the many inconveniences resulting from frequent fresh appointments of trustee*, necessitated by death, ohaDga of abode, or mental or bodily infirmly. *iir,-jruuumtmiij nuu pruuipumue in me remittance of periodical payments to benefioiaries under trust or will to any part of the colony, fit which it may bo desired tho<, payment should be made.: > ;. sth. The effective obeck whioh it called into operation before any moneys can be paid from the Publio Trustee's Account. 6Sb. Reasonable Charges. Oa estate* such at are now being considered the Pubic Trustee is authorised to charge 1J per cent. on all receipts, and If per cent, on all disbursements, and ss. per cent, on all moneys invested. No charge is made for obtaining probate, nor for passing stamps and property tax returns, nor for correspondence, however voluminous. Thus the saving to estates placed in this iffice is considerable.
