A y preßent trustee may transfer the management of trust properly to the Publio Truntee, who will thereupon hold such properly upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, company, association or publio body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Publio Trustee upon trust for such uses bb may bo defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it m*y be placed in the Public Trust Office, for tuoh trusts and uses and wish such powers as may be defined in cr by the said rules. The advantages offered are ; Ist. State Guarantee against peculation, fraud or dishonesty. 2» d. All proposed investments are considered by a Board, consisting of the Hon. Colonial Treesurer, the Attorney-General, the Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Government Insuranoe Commissioner, and the Publio Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered it is therefore insured, 3rd. The Public Trusteo in his corporate oapacity never dies, never leaves the colony, and never becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many inconveniences resulting from frequent fresh appointments of trustees, necessitated by death, ohange of abode, or mental or.bodily infirmity. 4th. Punctuality and promptitude in the remittance of periodical payments to benefioiariea under trust or will to any part of the colony, at which it may be desired that payment should be made. sth. The effective oheck whioh is oalled into operation before any moneys oan be paid from the Publio Trustee's Account. 6ch. Reasonable Charges. On estates such as are now being considered the Publ c Trustee is authorised to charge If per cent, on all receipts, and 1£ per cent, on all disbursements, and ss. percent, on all moneys invested. No oharge is made for obtaining probate, nor for passing stamps and property mi returns, nor tor correspondence, however voiuminous. Thus the saving to estates placed in this tffice is considerable.
