TEMUKA C C. F. OAM ABU C C. This match was played last Saturday Jn. Oamnrn, but the min prevented it bring finished. The Temuka team left Tetiiuka in time to catch the first train. The railway dining rooms had not then been opened, and consequently they had to proceed on their journey without breakfast. On reaching the Oamaru CHckat ground, which is about a mile at this side of the town, they found nothing ready and no means of getting anything to eat, and they hud to begin play at 11 o’clock, still fasting. It was, therefore, no wonder that they were quickly disposed of—Bryars, Gurr, and Hargreaves went out with a duck’s egg each, while W. W. King was top scorer with 4 runs, and they got only 20 out of the whole innings. During the play the wind was very high, and it was difficult to either bat or bowl. The Oatnam team had made 25 for two wicke's when an adjournment for hmch was made at 1.30, and as the tain came on pretly hard the mutch had to be abandoned.
