CRICKET.

| The interprovincial match between Canterbury and Otago concluded on Tuesday, the latter winning with two wickets to spare. Very few spectators were on the ground at the conclusion of the match, the weather being most unfavorable. The following are the scores:—Canterbury : Ist innings, 164; 2nd do., 132; total, 296. Otago : Ist innings, 171; 2nd do. (for 8 wickets), 129 ; total, 300. A match will be played at Timaru on Saturday between the Temuka and Timaru Cricket Clubs.
