CRICKET.
The return match Married v. Single will take place at Geraldine to-day, play commencing at one o'clock sharp. The teams will be chosen on the ground from the following players :—Married : W. M. Moore (captain), R. H. Psarpoint, Dr Fish, Rev. J. Preston, T. Hughes, Geo. Ward, W. Williams, C. E. Sherratt, E. H. Templar, T. Farrell, J. Dennison. Single : Fred, Fish (capt), Francis Fish, W. F. Hargreaves, A, L. Temple, A. G. Cox, R. Temple, 0. Foster, A. Erskine, R. Coltman, E. Hardoastle, A. H. Briscoe, E. Millard. The match arranged for to-day between the Temuka and Ashburton Clubs has fallen through in consequence of the latter being unable to muster a team on a Saturday. The match will come off on some future date. A match between the Married and Single members of the the Temuka Club takes place to-day in the Park. Mr Hargreaves captains the married men and Mr Bryars the single ones. We hope to see a good muster of players.
