I have cut all sorts of grain with it—from barley (a foot long) to tangled oats (7ft high), a very heavy crop: not less than 90 bushels per acre. I tried it also on a steep sideling ; 1 also opened out in the same crop the full width, 6ft,, and find it a better binder than any I have tried, viz. ; Wood (string), Leering, or McCormick, and i believe it the best in the market.
