CRICKET.
A match between the Temuka Cricket Club and an Oamaru team will be plajed in the Temuka Park next Saturday, and iu view of this the members are requested to attend practice regularly every evening next week. The following are the names of those from among whom the team will probably be chosen ; —W, H. Hargreaves, J. T, M. Hayhurst, Dr Hayes, L. E. Haines, J. J. Heap, Jas. Ogilvie, E. VV. Gurr, G, P. Wood, E. Brown W. Cleaves, Thurston, S. v Burrows, G. J. Mason, R. Pinckney, G. I Smith, H. Smith, W. G. 'Aspinall, and } H. Hat. To-day a scratch match will be played on the ground, the wickets being pitched - punctually at 1.30. As many members as possible are requested to attend, and all lovers of cricket, not members, are cordially invited. The Match Committee of the Club will bo on the ground, and , the play of the members will to some extent guide them in their selection of the ' representative team. All intending to take part in the game are requests! to communicate with the Secretary, Mr J, J« Heap, before 1 p.m.
