SHEEP WASHING. TAOKSON’S sheep lift J (Protected b Ryal Letters Patent,) Is a most useful and simple contrivance for liflinsr sheep from the hot soak instead of their being dragged up an incline ; it can be fitted to almost any wash. The following -tatemenls have been kindly given for publication : I have used one of Jackson’s Patent Lifts at my wash with great advantage, as it saves labor, prevents injury to the sheep economises .cap, and helps to insure more perfect wash'ng' WILLIAM LEWIS. I have seen Jacksons’s Patent Sheep Lift it work, and I consider it a valuable inven tion ; the sheep are got under the jets while wool is hot; the washing is greatly facilitated; the sheep are saved from injury by rough usuace, and the color and condition of the wool is imnroved. Any Person may appoint the Public Truste® executor and trustee under his will or codicil. A y present trustee may transfer the management of trust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such properly upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, company, association or public body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may be placed in the Public Trust Office, tor such trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. The Public Trustee in his corpora*? capacity never dies, never leaves the colony, and never becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many inc nvonicrooa resulting from frequent fresh appointments of trustees, necessitated by death, change of abode, or mental er bodily icfirmi'y. 4-th. Punctuality and promptitude in the ’•omittance of periodical payments to beneficiaries under trust or will to any part of fhe colony, at which it may be desired that payment should be made. 5 h The effective check which is called into operation before any moneys can be paid from the Public Trustee’s Account. Gib, Reasonable Charges. On estates such as are now being considered the Pubi c Trustee is authorised to charge 1£ per cent on all receipts, ard 1) per cent, on all dis bursements. and ss. per cent, on all moneys invested. No charge is made for obtaining prob to, nor for passing stamps and property tax returns, nor for correspondence, however voluminous.
