TIMAUU. Messrs Maclean and Stewart report for the past week ending Saturday as follows :

Horses—The wet morning prevented their usual number of entries from coming forward, only some 20 head being offered for side. They have to report a very dull demand tor all classes, and but few were sold, at prices that call for no special attention. On account of Mr Agnew they offered a very handsome pair of black ponies, also the hurdle horse Unit,” but the bidding for these did not reach the owner’s ideas, consequently they were passed in. Fat Cattle- They placed at Wednesday's sale, 10 heifers and steers at from £4 15s to £6, 7 steers at £6 15s, and 3 do., light weights, at £3 19a. Store cattle moved off better than usual They sold 10 head mixed catfle at £2 J7s 6d, 11 steers and heifers at from £3 13s to £3 19 s , ? do. from £2 to £2 3s.

Prime New Zealand mutton is selling to-day at s|d pur lb. Dec. 20. The frozen meat by the steamer Doric realised s£d per lb. Store w heat is 6d lower than last quotation. Two off coast cargoes have been sold at 34s 3d, and a shipment on the passage at 355.
