SHEEP WASHING-. TAOKSON’S sheep lift J (Protected b Ryal Letters Patent,) Is a most useful and simple contrivance for lifting sheep from the hot soak instead of their being dragged up an incline ; it can bo fitted to almost any wash. The following ■tatements have been kindly given for publication : I have used one of Jackson’s Patent Lifts et my wash with great advantage, as it saves labor, prevents injury to the sheep economises joap, and helps to insure more perfect washStoneleigh, near Shipton. I have seen Jacksona’s Patent Sheep Lift at work, and I consider it a valuable inven lion ; the sheep are got under the jets while wool is hot; the washing is greatly facilitated; the sheep are saved from injury by rough usuage, and the color and condition of the wool is improved. Full narticulars, price, etc., can be obtained from the patentee, John Owen or Beaufort. Any Person may appoint the Public Trustee executor and trustee under bis will or codicil. A y present trustee may transfer the management of trust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trust attaching thereto. Any person, company, association or public 'mdy within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may bo defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may be placed in the Public Trust Office, far tuoh trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. The advantages offered are 1-it. State Guarantee against peculation, fraud or dishonesty. 2i.d All proposed investments are considered by a Board, consisting of the Hon. Colonial Treeeurer, the Attorney-General, 'he Comptroller and Auditor-General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. o»reful consideration of all securities offered it is therefore insured, 3rd. The Public Trustee in his corporate capacity never dies, never leaves the colony, and never becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many inconveniences mulling from frequent fresh appointments of trustees, Becesfcitated by death, change of abode, or mental cr bodily infirmify. 4ih. Punctuality and promptitude in the remittance of periodical payments to beneficiaries under trust or will to any part of the colony, at which it may be desired that payment should be made. sth. The effective check which is called into operation before any moneys can be paid from the Public Trustee’s Account. 6th, Seasonable Charges. On estates such a* are now being considered the Publ c Trustee is authorised to charge per cent, on all receipts, and per cent, on all disbursements, and ss. per cent, on all moneys invested. No charge is made for obtaining prob -te, nor for passing stamps and property tHX returns, nor for correspondence, however voluminous.
